What is the Timeline For Your Wedding Stationery?

Always remember the rules of 6-8’s. The save the dates should be sent out 6-8 months before the wedding. You should order your wedding invitations 6-8 weeks before you mail out your invitations and mail them out 6-8 weeks before your wedding to your guests. Also, you should order your wedding stationery (thank you cards etc.) 6-8 weeks before your weddings. You should remember that every guest list is different and the number of guests that are traveling could slightly adjust these time frames. The goal of your stationery timeline should be to inform your guests about all the details in a timely manner so they can be as relaxed on your wedding day as you are!

Why Should You Invest in Your Wedding Invitations?

Wedding invites are the first look in to your special day. You have spent 6 months to 2 years planning each and every detail so it is important that it looks like there has been time and effort put into your big day from the moment it goes in the mail. It’s not your birthday party and probably the only time in your life you will use a formal invitation. Do it in a way your guests will be excited about. There are a lot of expectations that surround a wedding and if you are planning a fabulous day, the tone needs to be set with an awesome invitation. Here are some great reasons why!

  1. Wedding invitations are an important component of your wedding day photography. You’ll want to remember all the details of your day and having invitations/day of stationery available to your photographer is a great way to ensure that happens. Ugly invitations are ugly in person and in photographs. You can’t fix that. They can be used to take photos of the rings and other details that are special to you on your wedding day.
  2. You are creating an experience for your guests. Your flowers will die, you’ll wear your dress once, your cake will get stale but you’ll have the memories and keepsakes (like an invitation) that you created with your future spouse for more than a day. You can create memory keepsake boxes that can showcase all of your special details like your invitations, preserved flowers, hair pins, lace from your dress etc.
  3. A nice looking invitation sets the precedence for a very nice wedding which can mean nicer wedding presents.

Why Should You Purchase Invitations Through Simply Done Invites Instead of Through Online Printing Companies?

Bekah would love to get to know you because she believers face to face interactions are very important. You don’t have to scroll through a million invitation designs that aren’t really what you are looking for anyway. She can sit down and together you can dream out your vision or she can make options available to you that you had not an idea you needed or wanted. Your wedding planning is stressful, but once you let her handle the stationary aspect, you’ll know there is one less thing to think about.
