Hello friends we are Kevin and Anna, a Lexington, Kentucky-based husband and wife wedding photography team.

Our story began at a local rock climbing gym, where we met and quickly fell for each other. Our love for rock climbing, hiking & the great outdoors made us a perfect match.

Our wedding took place in 2012 at Lost River Cave in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We cherish our wedding photos and all of the amazing moments that our photographer captured for us. Our passion is to do the same for you. We understand the magnitude and importance of capturing your wedding day because it only happens once.

Fall Engagement Session in Downtown Maysville, Kentucky

Brandy and David’s engagement session was in the historic and charming downtown of Maysville, Kentucky. We have been friends with David ever since we met at a climbing gym called Bluegrass Bouldering in downtown Lexington, KY many years ago. So when David asked us to capture their wedding day we were so excited. We met them at an old historic house called Phillip’s Folly where they will be getting married at next summer. David is originally from Maysville and together he and Brandy knew that the house would be the perfect place for their wedding. The beautiful house is owned by a friend of David’s and is filled with all kinds of romantic antiques. After taking some photos around the house we visited the riverfront where a large bridge runs straight into downtown. It was the perfect place to celebrate Brandy and David’s engagement. After the river, we explored the rest of downtown Maysville with its cute homes, theater, and other historic buildings. We can’t wait to celebrate their special day in one of the cutest towns in Kentucky next summer!

Brandy and David met while they were in college. Brandy was lifeguarding at the pool during Greek week for an event at David’s fraternity. They caught each other’s eye and hit it off right away. For their first date, David took Brandy rock climbing in Morehead, KY. It was a romantic and adventurous first date in the mountains. They dated for many years throughout school and careers. David knew that he wanted to make Brandy forever his. He arranged to take Brandy on a hot air balloon ride and propose in the air. The weather conditions turned out to be too windy for the ride. David decided that he couldn’t wait any longer and wanted to propose even though the balloon ride didn’t work out. Later that day he had some of his friends arrange flowers and champagne at a local park. David took brandy there and asked her to marry him. Of course, she said yes! Be sure to check back next summer to see the rest of their love story unfold.
