Paper Flower Extraordinaire Ashley Cox Owner of PaperHeartBlooms based in Lexington, Kentucky

Ashley Cox Owner of PaperHeartBlooms in Lexington, Kentucky_0001We would like to introduce you to Ashley Cox, the owner of PaperHeartBlooms based in Lexington, Kentucky. She creates all kinds of amazing custom hand-dyed paper flowers. The sky is the limit because there are so many options and styles that a bride can work with to create a one-of-a-kind look, which she can keep well after the wedding day. These flowers can be used in the same way that fresh flowers can, for any type of arrangement. Ashley offers complimentary consultations, where you can discuss all things floral with her. During the meeting, she has in-house samples of most flower options, that way you can create a mock-up of the bouquets and arrangements during your meeting with her. These sessions give brides a great opportunity to get a preview of what the final arrangements will look like.

Ashley discovered her love for paper flowers while she was planning her wedding. Here is the story on how her journey started: “When planning my own wedding I wanted peonies everywhere; however, in October they are way out of season and were way out of our budget, so I decided I’d try to make my own. With some trial and error, I created a unique style of paper flowers, which set the stage to start PaperHeartBlooms. I began making arrangements for family and friends, and as interest grew I felt that I was on to something- then Alex and Ani jewelry stores asked me to create flowers for their stores in the US, Canada, and the Caribbean, and at that moment, I was sure that these flowers were something special. After months of creating them for my wedding, it was clear that I had found my passion and I was so excited to share these flowers with others who were looking for a fun, unique alternative to fresh flowers.”

Here is what Ashley says she loves most about her business: “I love being able to create something custom for brides, and seeing how excited they are when the bouquet is complete. It’s such an honor to have brides carry my flowers down the aisle.” Paper flowers may not be the first option that comes to mind when planning a wedding, but it can be an excellent way to create a truly custom floral design, and that will last from ‘I do’ to happily ever after! Ashley would love to sit down with you and show you all of the available options for your upcoming wedding. Be sure to visit her website or send her an email which is at the bottom of the blog. On top of creating beautiful work, PaperHeartBlooms is giving back to the community. For each bouquet sold, one is donated to patients in the Central Kentucky area that cannot have fresh flowers in their rooms due to health concerns. Be sure to check out her beautiful work and let her know what you think. Ashley Cox Owner of PaperHeartBlooms in Lexington, Kentucky_0002 Ashley Cox Owner of PaperHeartBlooms in Lexington, Kentucky_0003 Ashley Cox Owner of PaperHeartBlooms in Lexington, Kentucky_0004 Ashley Cox Owner of PaperHeartBlooms in Lexington, Kentucky_0005 Ashley Cox Owner of PaperHeartBlooms in Lexington, Kentucky_0007
