WELCOME TO KEVIN AND ANNA'S WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

Our story began at a local rock climbing gym, where we met and quickly fell for each other. Our love for rock climbing, hiking & the great outdoors made us a perfect match.

Our wedding took place in 2012 at Lost River Cave in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We cherish our wedding photos and all of the amazing moments that our photographer captured for us. Our passion is to do the same for you. We understand the magnitude and importance of capturing your wedding day because it only happens once.

Winter Engagement Session in the Snow

Luke and Leah were an amazing couple to work with. They braved the cold and snow for some amazing engagement photos on the University of Kentucky’s campus where they both go to school. The evening was filled with coffee, snow fights and a beautiful sunset. Big shout out to Black Swan Books and Common Grounds Coffee Shop for letting us take some photos at their beautiful locations.

Luke and Leah first met at a wedding that they were both a part of. Luke was the best man in his best friend’s wedding and Leah was the maid of honor in her sister’s wedding. Luke made sure to talk to Leah several times on the wedding day. He remembers her being covered in purple icing before the wedding while she was getting the cupcakes ready. It was his first clue that she was a keeper. Leah was a little nervous on her sister’s wedding day and remembers Luke telling her, “relax you’re not the one getting married.” Little did she know that Luke had been swept away by her and wanted to further their meeting into a friendship. As Luke left the wedding he friended Leah on Facebook and from there they began to message back and forth.

As their friendship began Luke was deployed to Afghanistan for 9 months. During that time they would write letters back and forth about their passions which included books and travel. Luke said he had a deep intuition about Leah and felt that he knew Leah would be an important part of his life. Through their letters they created a friendship that they are both forever grateful for.

We are so excited to be a part of their wedding this summer. They are such a sweet couple and we are truly honored they chose us to capture their special day. Their love for the outdoors, coffee, and books make them perfect for each other. We can’t wait to share the pictures from their wedding and tell you more of their story.
