When you see a beautiful gallery of images from a wedding day it can be easy to not realize all the love, hard work, and passion that went into each photo. From the couple to the vendors many long hours went into creating their beautiful wedding day. Throughout the year we love bonding with our couples. For us the most important thing is their relationship as they start their new journey together and well just having fun. For us, at the end of the day, we want to leave your special day as friends excited about your marriage and all that life has to hold for you as a couple. Here is a look at this year’s behind the scenes favorite moments. We hope you enjoy this blog as much as we enjoyed 2017!Kevin and I love going on adventures with our couples, especially in the Red River Gorge. We hiked 4 miles round trip with Isaiah and Jackie to capture the surprise proposal of their dreams.

Engagement sessions are really important for us because we want to get to know our couples. We want them to feel comfortable with us and how we shoot and pose. We will do whatever it takes to get the most amazing photos! Whether that means helping you climb a tree or… Helping you get mud off of your heels or… Even laying in a field of flowers at sunset to get the perfect shot. Kevin and I met rock climbing and so we tell our couple’s that we will be as adventurous as they will. We will do what it takes to make sure you all look amazing and all of the details are perfect. We believe in having a fun and laid back engagement sessions with our couples. We will do everything we can to help you find the perfect location for your engagement photos even if that means hiding in the bushes ourselves. We will go on top of buildings and even get in the water with you all. We have even gone hiking in the freezing cold for photos.We love taking photos of your wedding details! We understand just how important they are and we know all the time and care you took collecting them for your special day. We will stand on our tippy toes to make sure we find the perfect spot for your wedding dress. We love that you will be able to look back at all of the special moments that you shared with your family and friends.We love capturing every moment of your day to tell your beautiful wedding day love story. From the veil to the dress. We love to show it off! We will be there to hold your dress so you can walk hand and hand with your love.First looks and bride and groom photos melt our hearts every time. Groomsmen especially find that our imaginary line is a pretty serious matter. Hot lava may or may not be on the other side. The bridesmaids seem to already know about the line and rock it. No matter how big or small your wedding party…… We just want you and your friends to have a good time. These guys were pretty serious about recreating the lovely painting hanging in the back. During the ceremony we have all the important angles covered.Kevin is especially great at helping with that difficult runner. We love capturing wedding ceremonies because it is the moment you have been dreaming about! We love seeing all of the thought and care that people put into their ceremonies. Getting families organized and keeping them happy is very important to us. Kevin and I tag team to make sure everything goes smoothly. No matter if its 90 degrees or 10 degrees we will do whatever it takes to get the perfect shot. That could mean fluffing your dress or placing you in the most perfect light. We just want you to focus on the love you have for each other. We aren’t afraid to go off the beaten path. You can find some pretty magical spots that way. So after a hard day’s work we are ready to get back to the reception. Ultimately we just want to celebrate and party with you!
