Chelsea and Kenny were married on a beautiful farm in Glasgow, Kentucky. The farm has always held a special place in Chelsea’s heart. It was the perfect place for her and Kenny to tie the knot. The trees were turning beautiful shades of orange, red, and yellow. Chelsea got ready in an adorable cabin tucked back into the woods. She looked beautiful in her lace dress. Her girls wore long navy dresses. Their bouquets were filled with an assortment of garden roses, stargazer lilies, delphiniums, and eucalyptus. Kenny and Chelsea shared their first look at an old rustic white barn with rows of long red fences. Their ceremony took place on the farm with a pond as the backdrop. Their reception followed in downtown Smiths Grove, Kentucky. The tables were decorated with festive fall pumpkins and lanterns.
Chelsea and Kenny were both involved in youth organizations of 4-H and FFA. They both attended a summer conference for agricultural students at the University of Kentucky the summer of their junior year in high school. During the conference, they were paired together in the same group. Kenny was all things FFA while Chelsea was passionate about all things 4-H. Despite their rivalry, they spent some time together with all their new friends. Thier friendship bloomed after that summer conference. Chelsea asked Kenny to her high school senior prom. They ended the night with blizzards from DQ and immediately started planning for Kenny’s prom. They both attended the University of Kentucky and dated all through college. After college Chelsea moved to Kansas for a teaching position while Kenny still lived in Kentucky. After school one day, she went to her car to find sweet tarts on her windshield. All the students were snickering because they knew the plan all along. When Chelsea arrived home she found a bouquet of a dozen roses and a hand drawn map with directions at the bottom. When Chelsea arrived at the location she found Kenny waiting for her. They walked together to view the Cedar Bluff Reservoir at sunset. It was there that Kenny got down on one knee and proposed. We had so much fun celebrating with Kenny and Chelsea on their special day. They are both so much fun and full of laughter. We wish them many years, of love, happiness, and adventure.
