September Engagement Session at Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, KY

Caitlin and Dustin’s engagement session was at the beautiful Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, Kentucky. Kentucky is known as the horse capital of the world and filled with famous horses and farms. The scenery at Keeneland is spectacular full of rolling hills, fences, long rows of trees, farms and the iconic racetrack. It is a racetrack where many famous horses have competed and gone on to run in the Kentucky Derby. We had so much fun exploring the grounds and getting to know Caitlin and Dustin. We loved hearing all about their love story and seeing just how much joy they bring each other. Keeneland is special to them both because it is where they both have shared so many wonderful memories. Caitlin and Dustin are both sweet and so much fun to be around. They will be getting married in New Jersey where Caitlin is from at Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville, NJ.

Caitlin and Dustin met through mutual friends while they were both at McCarthy’s in downtown, Lexington, KY. They ended up running into each other a week later at the same place and hit it off from there. Their first date was to see a funny movie. They decided to take a once in a lifetime trip together to New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji. The last destination of their trip was Fiji. While in Fiji, they kayaked out to a secluded beach. They both got out of the kayak to take in the view. While Caitlin was looking out over the water Dustin said, “look out there! Do you see that?” Caitlin couldn’t see anything and turned around to see Dustin down on one knee asking her to marry him. What an absolutely beautiful place for a proposal.
