Brynne and Randy’s engagement session was on their family farm in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. This engagement session is near and dear to my (Anna) heart because Brynne is my niece. Brynne has lots of special memories on the farm and so it was the perfect place to do her and Randy’s engagement session. When we met Randy last Christmas we could right away that they were crazy about each other. We are so excited about their wedding this New Years Eve at Talon Winery!
Brynne and Randy met their sophomore year at Liberty University. Brynne wanted to participate in an uncommon sport and so she decided to try out for the paintball team. Randy was already a member of the team. They started talking at practices and events and began to become friends. In February of 2015, Brynne had been playing in the snow with her roommates when caught strep throat. Randy offered to take Brynne to Wendy’s to get her a frosty for her sore throat. While driving he told Brynne that he had tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters and asked her if she wanted to go.
In Lynchburg, Virginia there is a tradition of placing locks on a bridge, similar to the Paris, France bridge. Brynne and Randy had been wanting to do it for a while. So on January 22, 2017, after church, they went and picked out a lock. Brynne locked the lock onto the bridge and Randy told her to throw the keys into the river. When she turned around Randy was down on one knee and asked Brynne to marry him. Randy proposed with a family ring. We are so excited to share some of our favorite photos from Brynne and Randy’s engagement session. Be sure to check back after New Years to see the rest of their love story unfold.
