Gorgeous Summer Wedding at the Barn at Springhouse Gardens in Nicholasville, Kentucky

Megan and Andrew were married at the magical and beautiful Barn at Springhouse Gardens in Nicholasville, Kentucky. The gardens are filled with breathtaking landscapes that include arches, stone stairways, and pathways. In the center of the garden is a rustic barn filled with all things glitz and vintage. There are glittering chandeliers, vintage furniture, and mismatched gold mirrors. Megan and her girls got ready in the loft of the barn at Springhouse Gardens. She looked absolutely breathtaking in her wedding dress. The top was a sweetheart cut with a crystal beaded belt and flowy skirt. She looked like a princess! Megan’s girls wore mismatched long slate blue dresses. The bouquets were filled with babies breath and white and blue hydrangeas. Andrew and his groomsmen looked dapper in gray tuxes and blue tie. Andrew and Megan’s ceremony was held in the midst of the garden with breathtaking views. They were married under a romantic chandelier and draping flowers. Their reception followed at the barn with a clear tent and string lights. The tables were decorated with slate blue tablecloths and dressed in blue and white hydrangeas in champagne and gold vases. They danced the night away on a black and white checkered dance floor.

Andrew and Megan first met at a New Year’s Eve party when they were seniors in high school. They danced and had fun but it wasn’t until their sophomore year at the University of Kentucky that they saw each other again. They both attended a party and reconnected. On New Year’s Eve in 2016, they went into downtown Winter Garden, Florida with some of their friends. They decided to take some pictures before dinner. Megan loves taking pictures and so she wasn’t expecting anything. When it came time for their photos, Andrew turned to her and popped the question. Megan was so surprised she started crying. She had no idea that Andrew had been planning the proposal for months and that all of her friends had kept it a secret. Make sure to visit Megan and Andrew’s engagement blog to read the rest of their love story.

We had so much fun with Andrew and Megan at their beautiful wedding at the Barn at Springhouse Gardens. We were so honored that they chose us to capture their special day. We wish them many years of love, adventure, and happiness. Also, we want to give a big shout out to all the amazing wedding vendors that were involved in making Megan and Andrew’s wedding so special.
