May Wedding at Talon Winery in Lexington, Kentucky

Rakisha and Key’s wedding was on a summer day in May at Talon Winery in Lexington, Kentucky. Their wedding was bursting with beautiful colors of mint, coral, blush, and silver. Rakisha and her bridesmaid’s bouquets were filled with succulents, roses, peonies, and eucalyptus. The gorgeous bouquets popped with color perfectly complementing the mint bridesmaid dresses. Rakisha looked absolutely stunning in her lace dress. We loved all of the details she chose from the crystals and pearls that made up so many of her details. Key looked handsome in his gray suit and mint tie. For their first look, we picked a secluded spot at the back of the vineyard where they could take a moment to spend together before their wedding ceremony. The love that these two have for each other is so special and a beautiful reminder of what true love is.

Their ceremony and reception were in the main barn at Talon Winery. The entrance of the barn was decorated with a large white couch, hanging lantern, and suitcases to show Key and Rakisha’s love for travel. The tables were decorated with silver sequin runners and lit lanterns dressed with flowers. From the ceiling hung white drapery and a gold chandelier. The guests sat down at the tables while Rakisha and Key were married under an arch dressed in flowers and greenery. It was such a romantic setting for these two love birds to get married. For sunset, we took Rakisha and Key to do some romantic photos. It was the perfect moment for Rakisha and Key to reflect on their wedding day and the love they have for each other.

Rakisha and Key knew each other in high school as academic team rivals. It wasn’t until many years later that they found friendship and love. Key proposed to Rakisha on a romantic night at home that meant the world to both of them. It was the perfect night and the perfect moment.
