Summer Wedding at The Club at UK’s Spindletop Hall in Lexington, KY

It’s not every day that you meet the love of your life riding in on a white horse, but that’s exactly what Art did when he met Ginny. When we first met Art and Ginny on their farm it was just so special. We felt so honored that we got to peek into the beautiful life that they had built together. One of the things we noticed right away was their love for each other. It was in the little moments between them that we could see so much love.  Their wedding was at the beautiful and historic Spindletop Hall in Lexington, Kentucky. Ginny and Art’s love for all things horses played a special theme in their wedding. We loved all of the details they chose from their invitations and cake to the trumpeter that played during the processional and recessional.

Ginny was beautiful in her lace dress from Twirl and Art looked so handsome in his gray suit and blue tie. Spindletop Hall is a beautiful backdrop for outdoor ceremonies with a large patio and breathtaking stone pillars. As they exited their ceremony their guests threw lavender in the air. Their reception was inside the ballroom of Spindletop Hall with large chandeliers and romantic fireplaces. The tables were dressed with white linen tablecloths and centerpieces by Blooms n’ Blossoms. The centerpieces were made of birch wood filled with roses, double tulips, scabiosa, star of Bethlehem, larkspur, & eucalyptus.

Ginny and Art met one morning at Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, Kentucky. Ginny walked the rail trackside and was met by Art who was an outrider for Keeneland. He literally rode up on a white horse. They struck up a conversation right away and became pretty inseparable from that time on. To read more about their love story and see their engagement photos make sure to click on the link at the bottom of the blog. Big shout out to all of the amazing wedding vendors who made this day possible. You can find a list of the creative team at the end of the blog. We are so thankful to Art and Ginny who trusted us to capture their special day. We wish them many years of love, adventure, and happiness.
