Kristin and Ray’s engagement session took place at the beautiful Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. They first met when mutual friends invited them over for a movie night. The night was definitely a set up orchestrated by their friends. Kristin & Ray’s first date was out to dinner at Drake’s where they met friends to watch the UK basketball game. A little over a year after their first date they were both hiking together at Shaker Village to celebrate their one year anniversary and Kristin’s 31st birthday. After coming to a waterfall Ray pulled out his phone and started going through photos depicting their every day life together. He told Kristin that he loved living life together with her. At that moment he dropped down to one knee at the edge of the creek and asked her to marry him. How special is it that their engagement session started in the very same place that the proposal happened. We had so much fun hiking and exploring the area with them.
