We looked forward to photographing Courtney & Joey’s wedding the moment that they booked us. Their Red River Gorge wedding took place on an absolutely beautiful sunny fall day at the Cliffview Resort in Campton, Kentucky. We could not have asked for a more beautiful and scenic place to take their photos. The ceremony took place at Overlook Point which was surrounded by beautiful mountains painted with vibrant fall colors. It was by far one of the most breathtaking locations for a wedding that we have been able to be a part of.  During the ceremony Courtney & Joey decided to plant a tree together symbolizing their marriage union. After the ceremony we were able to take the bride and groom portraits during golden hour and sunset. The dynamic lighting and sunset made for some gorgeous photos. The ceremony was a blast as well filled with dancing, cake smashing and the bouquet being tossed all the way across the venue and over the single ladies heads until it hit the wall. The night closed out beautifully with Courtney & Joey lighting a lantern and sending it off into the night sky.
